APIC SPONSORS RICHMONDSHIRE CRICKET CLUB 1st XI

APIC Business Consultants Limited will sponsor the 1st XI at Richmondshire Cricket Club for the 2010 season.

The Cricket Club has seen an increase in team numbers for this season and now boasts an impressive13 teams. Three senior teams play in the North Yorkshire and South Durham League, plus the newly formed fifth (senior) team will be the second team representing the club in the Darlington District League.

There is also a growing junior section at the club with eight sides, ranging from under 10s to under 17s, operating in various leagues around the North Yorkshire area.

David Gibson, Director, APIC Business Consultants said "Successful sports clubs form a working relationship with sponsors these days. Richmondshire Cricket Club has a great history and they want to build on that and develop further. The three new sponsors are all local businesses who want to be involved and support the local club."

The Club Administrator, Karen Barlow, is delighted with the announcement, "It is really encouraging to see our plans developing both on and off the field. We have a greater number of teams this year and we are raising funds to build an even better pavilion. Club membership has also seen resurgence the early months of this year. With the support of the members, players and from local businesses we will succeed sooner rather than later."

Two more business specialists have joined the team at APIC Business Consultants Limited adding expertise in HR and training to the firm’s list of services

Beverley Lyn (MBA, FCII) is a learning and development specialist with a number of years of experience developing people on behalf of major organisations such as AXA Insurance Group, NFU Insurance and The Chartered Insurance Institute.

Richard Tait (BSc (Econ) Chartered FCIPD) has worked at director level over the past 20 years providing human resource help and guidance to major organisations, as well as small and medium businesses.

APIC Director, David Gibson, explained the company’s latest expansion: “Good marketing management considers all aspects of a business. It is often said that the most important part of a business is the people who work within it. With Richard on board, we are able to provide the support of a 'virtual HR Dept.' He can provide advice on all employment issues and we know that many businesses are looking for support in this respect,” he said.

June 1st 2009 is a red letter day for APIC Business Consultants Limited as we move to new offices, at Shaw House, Olliver Richmond, North Yorkshire. Our new website, developed by our associate, Marc Atkinson, is also launched on the same date.
